Unnecessary body hair has been a constant pain in every womans neck
. I dont know, but that is just the problem of our generation. Had we been born like, two, three centuries before, we wouldnt be minding such thing as a hassle. Right? Society at that time didnt mind if you had hair in your armpits or a mustache (or beard or both) on your face. Alas! What can we poor female souls do? We live in todays society where a woman with facial or underarm hair is subjected to ridicule. Well, a girls got to do what a girls got to do, right?
Throughout the years, different methods of hair removal have been developed to help women with this dilemma. Such methods include tweezing, threading, shaving, waxing/sugaring, laser hair removal, and electrolysis. Quite overwhelming, are they not? Thankfully, we dont have to use them all. Lets find out how each method works, and then you decide which one you prefer.
First stoptweezing. According to my source, tweezing works best when used on the eyebrows. It is best to have your eyebrows shaped by a professional at first and just regularly follow the arch. The initial shaping can be done by either shaving or threading.
This brings us to our next methodthreading. This one is usually used to remove eyebrow, chin, and upper lip hair. The process includes a doubled-up strand of cotton thread. This is twisted around individual hairs to pull them out of their roots. Painful? Girl, do you even have to ask? It takes about five to ten minutes. Even though its more painful than tweezing, threading is a much faster procedure. You can have a threading job for at least five dollars and just follow the shape with tweezers in the future.
Next in our list is shaving. Shaving can be defined in three wordssimple, fast, and cheap. This method works best on underarms and legs. Be sure to sure a sharp blade and a good shaving cream. The downside with this one though is you can easily cut yourself and hair grows back fastmaybe two to three days after your shaving. Also, remind yourself not to use this method on your chin, upper lip, or brows. The stubble shows off fast.
Lets move on to the next methodwaxing. Now, this ones pretty painful too. You need to glue some sticky substance to your skin cover it with cloth to be yanked afterwards. Can you imagine how painful that it? The good thing with this one though is that the hair is removed from the roots. So it will take a long time before it grows back. If you dont want to much mess with your procedure, you can use sugaring instead. Its easier to clean afterward.
Next is the laser hair removal. Heres an important thing to remember: laser hair removal might not be for you if youre blonde. According to my source, lasers work best on dark hair because of some melanin issues. Thankfully, lasers are less painful than waxing. They are much expensive though. Each session can cost you one hundred fifty to two hundred dollars. Electrolysis, another hair removal method, is said to be more effective than laser hair removal. The cost is about sixty dollars for a thirty-minute session. But take this, you need about 1530 visits to get the best results.
These are the common methods of hair removal. Some can be really painful, but thats just what it is. Oh, the things women do for beauty. So, whats it to be? The tools have been aligned for you. Choose whats more convenient for you to use. Good luck, lady friend.
