This holiday became so popular in America when the Irish introduced them to the festival and the activities. Orange is often used as it represents autumn and fires which are common to have at this time of year. The traditional games and activities that are associated with Halloween such as trick and treating have been popular for many years. Young children are known to dress in their Halloween costumes and visit houses for candy. Traditional foods such as candy apples are given out due to them being in vast quantity at this time of year alongside pumpkins and corn.
