Your skin collects a lot of dust and dirt as you go about your daily activities. It is important to see that it remains clean. If the skin pores get clogged and prevent moisture getting in, then you will be susceptible to whiteheads, blackheads, rashes, acne and rosacea. Your skin needs air to breathe, food to eat and moisture to stay cleanespecially the deep dermal layers. It is advisable to utilize a good facial cleanser twice a dayin the morning before applying makeup, and in the night before going to sleep. Please stay away from surfactants that are harsh on your skin. Thus, whether your skin is oily or dry, award it a good cleaning, remove the day's makeup and pat the surface dry.

(5) Keeping the skin well hydrated.

Now, keeping the skin hydrated does not mean washing several times a day; that will, in fact, remove essential oils from your skin. Drink plenty of water or other fluids. But do avoid liquids high in sugar content or caffeine. Sugar enhances metabolism, leading to flushing of necessary nutrients and reduction of the fluid levels within the body. Caffeine brings down fluid levels, as it is a diuretic. Considering that the larger part of the human body consists of water, your cells will thirst for water all the time. So if you want the cells to mature and develop well, have proper delivery of the nutrients that you consume and ensure healthy circulation, keep your skin moist always.
