The tradition of stairbuilding is complex. It takes years to master the trade which is considered amongst the most difficult. In recent years efforts have been made to standardize how stairs are built, just as everything else in homebuilding already is. Stud framing, flooring, roofing all deal with subtle variables, but overall the adhere to a basic standard. Not so in stair construction.

Modular and other pre-fabricated staircase systems all fail to assure an even rise from top to bottom usually having a short step on the top, bottom or both. When people walk on staircases they expect each step to have an identical rise, and they tend to stumble when that is not so. The CaseModular system is the first system that by its patented system of adjusting each step, allows for perfect fitting custom staircases to be assembled by non-skilled laborers. In addition the entire staircase can be installed in hours rather than days -- providing increased quality of the final product at reduced costs. It is all because the skilled labour is in the factory, not on the construction site. As an extra bonus the final structure is a bolted and glued monocoque structure, free of movement and eventual squeaking.
