Found in cigarette smoke.Carbon Monoxide (CO- car exhaust fumes) Colourless, odourless and poisonous. In large amounts can cause rapid death. This is the main gas formed when smoking.Tar Particles of tar are drawn into the lungs when inhaling smoke and only 70% are exhaled out of the lungs. This means the remaining 30% settles in the lungs causing irritation and damage to the lung tissues.Nicotine (Insecticide/ addictive drug) One of the most addictive substances known to man.
