Homemade Harry Potter Wand

Harry Potter is famous for his wand, so why not give a personalized and homemade wand gift to your friend or love ones. This is a great gift idea and surely whoever receives this will definitely enjoy it. This gift idea is pretty easy to make, just find a stick and polish it. Make sure the stick resembles Harry's wand. It should have curves. After polishing it, you can simply varnish it or if you want paint it with color. If you are good with wire, add a small bulb on the tip. Use small wire and connect with a switch and battery. The person only needs to press the switch and the tip of the wand lights. Use a watch battery so it's tiny and you won't have a hard time hiding it. Once the wand is set and working, place it on a box and tie it with a great looking ribbon. The wand may fit a wine box.

Homemade Harry Potter Howler

If you have watched the movie, Ron Weasley's mother (Mrs. Weasley) sent Ron an ear-splitting rage when she found out that he and Harry used the flying Ford Anglia instead of the train to go to school. Why don't you try creating this as your present for your love ones who loves Harry Potter movie. You just need a red envelope adorned with ribbons just like in the movie, and the letter can be made using parchment effect paper. Make sure the envelope is addressed to the person you wanted to give the gift and put a bronze seal with a W for Weasley. Then if you can find a chime, place that inside the letter so when he/she opens the letter it will play music. If you can find a playback recorder that's small and handy then you can use that instead.

Personalized Harry Potter Glass Coaster

This gift idea is also easy to create. All you need is to print photos of Harry Potter movies or even the logo's of each school of Hogwarts. You can search the internet for Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hupplepuff and Ravenclaw. You can also print Hermoine, Ron, Harry, etc. Before printing, you can edit the photos to fit a circle. Then cut out the photos into circle and have it laminated. Presto! You now have a glass coaster. You can add additional design using your imagination and artistry. I am definite that kids will always use a coaster everyday.
