Judge Bolton will hear the case brought by the justice department on the law next week. Nine state attorneys general have sent "friend of the court" briefs supporting the Arizona measure. The states are Michagin, Alabama, Florida, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Virginia. Text of the bill here
