Have Fun with RC Indoor Helicopters

An RC indoor helicopter is a small remote-controlled helicopter with an easy flight control. Rugged and lightweight, this indoor helicopter can be flown without having to worry about breaking anything in the surroundings or the helicopter itself. You can manipulate it by combining the use of rudder and throttle controls to change direction and altitude. Once you've familiarized the basics, you will be able to take your flying from a simple hovering to low-flying exhibitions.

Put your RC helicopter on an even surface. Lift it off by putting gentle pressure on the radio transmitter throttle stick and moving it forward.

Check for any form of spin movement as the helicopter rises. When an RC helicopter lacking in adjustment lifts, there's a tendency for it to alter direction without any input from its rudder controls. It might also constantly spin right or left and would refuse to move forward. Use the trim control knobs found on the remote control to trim the RC helicopter to balance any unwanted movement.

Slowly let go of the throttle. Slightly pull back the throttle stick to land the aircraft back on the even surface. Use the trim control knobs found on the remote control to adjust your trim control. Do this by turning the knob in the reverse direction of aircraft's turning movements. Create small adjustments to your trim control. Test the helicopter after every adjustment until it will soar properly without turning in its place, pointing in a steady direction as it gains altitude.

Forward press the control's throttle and move receiver's rudder stick left to right. This will turn the helicopter's tail and change the forward orientation. To decrease or increase the helicopter's altitude, decrease or increase the throttle movement; you can either move it backward or forward.

Point the RC helicopter in your desired direction. Increase throttle while applying a bit of pressure on the rudder. The helicopter will slightly move forward, curving to the rudder movement's direction. For turn, you can center the control's throttle then press its rudder to the right or left.
