? 3 Tips To Make Coping Easier After He Left
Are you having a very hard time coping after a break up? I understand how you feel. Like you, I have been through a break up a few years ago when my ex boyfriend ditched me. Those mornings when I didn't feel like waking up, afternoons when I didn't feel like eating and nights when I couldn't get to sleep were horrible. However, after following these 3 tips to make coping after a break up easier, it helped me get past this difficult stage and eventually help in winning him back.
Tip #1: Start being the one in charge
Who was the leader in your previous relationship? Did you let your partner make all the decisions, or did you stand up for yourself and make yourself heard? Women often lose themselves in relationships, when they try to become someone else for the man they love. Take back your power as a woman and choose to be an independent person who can take care of herself from now on.
What you can do is to write down 7 things you did when you were in your relationship and another 7 things you like to do. Compare them to see if you were being true to yourself during the relationship or being someone else for the man you love. If you were being someone else for your ex boyfriend, it is time to start thinking for yourself. Take this chance during your single-hood to make decisions based on what you want instead of what other people want.
It is your choice if you want to hide under the blanket the whole day, eat the whole tub of Ben N Jerry's or even going on a road trip. Trust your instincts and be the one in charge of your life.
The feeling of doing that is simply awesome, I assure you.
Tip #2: Focus your attention elsewhere
Distracting yourself works every time. But, do note that it requires some effort and discipline on your part, when you are doing your best incoping after a break up. One suggestion I have, is that you make it a point to start your day on a positive note.
When you wake up, think about at least 3 things that make you feel good about your life and write it down in a journal. Compile a week's worth of positivity in your journal and read through 21 them at the end of the week. You will be able to see in the journal, the reason why it was his mistake to leave you and you are worth so much more than that!
Tip #3: Say 'Yes' to the break up... For now...
This tip entails a tinge of reverse psychology. Learning how to agree to disagree is a key feature in successful relationships. Even though it is very painful to agree to a break up right now, understand that loving someone means being able to accept their decisions. The more you go against your ex's choice, the more he will think that you don't or can't understand him. Hence, to build a temporary bridge of understanding, agree with your ex that this is the best course of action for your relationship for now.
What you can do is to follow a set of detailed, proven and guided instructions that takes you by the hand through a step-by-step e-course learning ways ofwinning him back. My question for you is...
