Having Self Defense For Parking Lot Problems Is Vital
Mothers know best
Mothers know best. That was what I realized after I almost fell prey to a mugging incident in a mall parking lot but was saved by the devices for self defense in parking lot attacks of my friends.
My Mom gave me a cell phone stun gun and a lipstick pepper spray for my birthday while my Dad gave me a new car that I had always dreamed of. Naturally, I was more appreciative of the car.
Since then, my Mom always reminded me to bring along the self defense gadgets because of rampant mugging incidents in parking lots. Self defense in parking lot situations are a must, especially for girls, she said.
But I always forget to bring them with me. One night, after a late movie in a mall, with friends Karen and Cindy, we headed for the parking lot to drive home.
We just got in the car when two men rapped on the car's windows, demanding that we open them. I hurriedly looked for the car keys but failed out of panic. I was almost in tears while thinking that my mother's reminders to bring the self defense in parking lot incidents have come to naught.
I was still fumbling for the car keys when I heard a loud male sound outside the car. Cindy was holding what I thought was a camera cell phone. Later, she explained that it was a cell phone stun gun with 4.5 million volts.
I had another surprise when the guy in Karen's side gave out a painful cry when she sprayed her with her Lipstick Pepper spray. I did not think they were equipped with self defense in parking lot attacks.
We used the light from Karen's Keychain Alarm to find my car key. Then we left the area with the bad guys still temporarily incapacitated. We reported the incident to the mall guard on our way out.
