He's Not Ready to Commit? Tips to Get Him to Crave Commitment

So you're crazy about a man and he's not ready to commit? Frustrating, isn't it? You have visions of a happily-ever-after future with him and he has visions of you two continuing as dating partners indefinitely. What's a girl to do when she's stuck in the middle of a situation like this? If he's not ready to commit, no amount of pressure from you is going to change his mind. In fact, if you continually push him by talking about how much you want to be married and how disappointed you are that you're not, he'll pull back. He may pull back so much that the relationship will begin to fall apart. This is not the approach to take. Instead, you want to put the idea of a commitment on the back burner for now. Go out with your girlfriends, chase your passions and show him that you're not about to sacrifice everything for him either. If he sees this type of behavior from you, he'll feel more at ease about committing.

Make sure he knows every day that you love him and that your love does not hinge on whether or not you get an engagement ring from him. If he knows that you adore him and that you accept him for who he is, he'll feel a closer emotional bond with you. By being understanding and compassionate with him, he'll come to realize that you truly are unique and special and the only woman for him.
