Headset Phones, Unlike Many Phone Headsets, Always Provide Mobility And Freedom

Headset Phones are pretty much still for people who spend a lot of time on the phone

, especially if they either interface with their computer a lot while on the phone or simply like to be mobile and hands free. In either case, though, headset phones make a whole lot of sense. Headset Phones are not just for telemarketers, phone rooms or customer service professionals, if you're on the phone a lot at your office, even your home office, you'll probably find headset phones can improve your morale, reduce stress and fatigue and generally make your work more pleasant.

Increasingly popular, headset phones can be found in a variety of sizes, shapes and options. The device through which you hear and the device into which you speak may be together, as on a blue tooth or separated by a flexible plastic loop or along a cord. In any case you have your hands free to do other things, even if you simply need them to talk with.

We've heard stories of great salespeople who simply could never sell anything over the telephone until they got a headset phone. All salespeople have been told that people on the other end of the phone line can tell if you are smiling. We would submit that some people need to talk with their hands and the person they are speaking to may indeed be able to read the animation of that person's hands in the voice of their sales rep, when he is able to, as it were, talk with his hands.

Some models of headset phones are cordless. This adds distance to the flexibility of hands free. Now you can walk about, procure documents, even do other work needing your attention while maintaining your conversation. Many headset phones are equipped with state of the art noise reduction technology so even though you are moving around you can hear and be heard with superior sound quality.

While certainly many of these same observances may apply to many of the various phone headsets on the market, the only type of telephone made solely to address the flexibility and additional freedom available with both hands free communications and range of mobility in a full featured landline phone is the headset phone. So if you are looking for freedom and mobility in a phone headset, try asking for it backwards. Turn around stupid! I meant say "headset phone" rather than phone headset.
