On September 28th Ehrlich Bariatrics and Griffin Hospital will hold their second Weight Loss Surgery Health Fair in Connecticut

. This event is open to all weight loss surgery patients regardless of where their surgery was performed. Friends, family and those considering bariatric surgery for weight loss are also welcome. This 2 hour event will be held at Griffin Hospital and will offer attendees the opportunity to learn new information, network, and gain support and inspiration! Some of the exciting items on the agenda include:

Cooking demonstrations: See our chef cooking nutritious meals. Learn new healthy recipes.

Exercise demonstrations: Ehrlich Bariatrics and Griffin Hospital in Connecticut offer exercise programs for weight loss surgery patients. Watch our exercise physiologist demonstrate proper form and technique for physical activity following surgery.

A nutritional requirements update: You can find important information on vitamin and mineral requirements plus tips and tricks to get proper nutrition every day, as nutritional requirements may have changed since you had your operation, if it was more than one year ago

An educational session on revisional surgeries:You gained back your weight after weight loss surgery?Have you considered having another operation? This informational session will help you understand your options and make the right decision.

Industry vendors: Several industry vendors will be present to educate patients in their journey toward success. Meet the representatives from Bariatric Advantage, Allergan, WLS Lifestyles Magazine, and more.

A raffle: Registered attendees will be entered to win one of several prizes related to the health and well being of weight loss surgery patients. Some of the exciting prizes include a Wii Fit System, gym memberships, and gift certificates for yoga classes, personal training and Botox!

The same Fair will hold the official launch of the Griffin Hospital "Back on Track" program, which is designed for gastric bypass, gastric band or gastric sleeve patients who are 6 months or more post op.
