Health Risks Associated With Steroid Use

Possessing access to anabolic steroids is a position that is enviable to many

. There are millions of natural bodybuilders in the world who would love to run a steroid cycle, but are too concerned with legal and financial concerns should they be caught, to actually purchase a cycle. This is unfortunate, as the vast majority of them would be intelligent, cautious users who would actually improve their physiques with little to no cost to society. Politics aside, these bodybuilders will continue to train their hardest, eat with a great deal of discipline, and excel at their very slow pace. They're doing it the old fashioned way, well aware of the fact they may never meet their physical potential on their natural pace.

There is another group of bodybuilders that do have the courage to use anabolic steroids. They dive right in. They aren't all that precise in their diet and training, but they see gains. Are the gains as good as what they would have seen, had they managed to show discipline and consistency in their diet and training? Of course not. However, they are still able to add 15 to 25 pounds of muscle to their frame, and they do manage to see a nice jump in strength. The problem, of course, is that these bodybuilders are completely dependent upon steroids for their muscle. Without a natural base and a steady regimen of diet and training, they will lose the majority of these gains as soon as the cycle ends.

Finally, there is a third group of bodybuilders who have found the best of both worlds. They have the courage and the means to dive into the world of anabolic steroids, and the discipline and work ethic to actually follow through with consistent training, diet, and sleep. Instead of making gains of 20 temporary pounds on their first cycle, these men usually see gains of 30 to 35 pound, 20 or more of which they actually keep after concluding post-cycle therapy. They realize that steroids are useful, but they are only a part of the bigger puzzle of components that lead to bodybuilding success.

Running a steroid cycle will grant one a great deal of forgiveness. The presence of artificial testosterone in the body allows for growth despite the worst efforts of the user. He can eat fast food, sleep sparingly, and train without passion three times per week, and often make great gains. However, he is not a true bodybuilder. Rather, he is a steroid user. A true bodybuilder is one who engages in all aspects of the bodybuilding lifestyle - which obviously include training and nutrition. The guy who sparsely trains, and just runs a powerful cycle will not retain any of that muscle in a year's time.

If you are going to take the legal, financial, and health risks associated with steroid use, make the most of your efforts and train and eat correctly too. Doing so will lead to gains you keep forever. Slacking on these essentials will leave you with nothing but memories of your muscle suit when you finally do walk away form the needle. Choose wisely.
