Healthy Benefits Of Juice Diets

Juicing fruit and vegetables is a really good way to give your body a jump-start of excellent nutrition

. I mentioned a good many benefits in my previous article but wanted to build on these ideas. Juicing is becoming more popular and we have all heard how helpful to the body it can be, but some of the articles I have seen on my studies, seem to get a bit confusing. I dont want to encounter confusing medical terms about the mystery of how my body works, I want to know in easily understood ways; how it works and what good it does to me. I like things put simply so I shall try to do this below;

I'm going to set-out 3 main reasons why juicing is so beneficial:

1.Juiced fruit and veggies get digested more easily than food that hasn't been juiced meaning the natural goodness gets into your system quicker.

2.When you juice, you are using more fruits and veggies than you would actually eat if they were whole. This means that there is a greater concentration of vitamin and mineral natural goodness in your body.


3.Detoxification To put it in a simple way,, nearly all the pre-prepared food we consume have many kinds of chemicals such as preservatives and colourings, these are not natural for the bodies system and could be harmful as time goes on. Drinking freshly squeezed juice helps to clear these toxins from the body

Following are how you can benefit from juicing:

Having a healthy heart and improving the cardiovascular system:

The healthy vitamins in Fruit and vegetables like vitamins C and E which help your heart to run well and to stop it clotting. You may have heard of Cholesterol and Triglycerides but put simply they are the fat content in your blood which can cause, amongst other things, heart disease. Healthy blood makes it all run smoothly (Cardiovascular system) and so is great for your vital organs and a healthy heart. Vitamin C is known to be found in most vegetables and fruits, some in greater degree than others. Some may be surprising, following are the 10 with the most vitamin C:

A good reason why juicing fruit & veg is because you dont overdose on these natural ingredients whereas taking supplements can be detrimental.

Magnesium is key vitamin to make the heart work effectively and ensuring the heart beats constantly. Magnesium is found in all sorts of fruits and berries, passion fruits dates and bananas.

when you juice, not only is there a great source of these essential vitamins and minerals but you can also lose weight meaning less strain on the body's organs.

Detoxification

The liver is vital in completing lots of functions, such as making sure the blood is cleansed by removing not wanted toxins & chemicals. As I stated earlier these toxins are in most of the food we eat and are so common nowadays and juicing enables the dilution of chemicals and toxins and aids the body to get rid of them.

Vitamin A is known for its role in the health of your teeth, soft tissue, mucous membranes, vision and skin. Vitamin A is found in dark green vegetables, Carrots, pumpkin, spinach, grapefruit, apricots and broccoli all these have beta carotene in healthy levels. Beta-carotene (which is an antioxidant), helps to protect the body against free radicals, which could sound like a bunch of subversives but are actually nasty little molecules that quickly age you and will contribute to some types of chronic disease .

The good benefits of juicing blackberries and blueberries together will give your body with a good source of vitamins C and E.

A lack of riboflavin (vitamin B2) has been known to cause cracked lips, hair loss, dermatitis, skin that is greasy and other types of skin conditions.

Fruit & veg full of Riboflavin are; Avocado, Banana, grapes, mangoes, passion fruit, mulberries, Kale, spinach, mushrooms and asparagus.

For good healthy eyes the best vitamin is vitamin A and specifically beta-carotene, which can be discovered in orange colored fruits and veg. The body converts Beta-carotene into vitamin A. I no doubt guess that you have heard it said that eating carrots help you to see better when it is dark! Well this is not too far from the truth, they should certainly help you to see better as vitamin A is extremely important for retina function and prevent a condition called night blindness happening.

Energy to burn off!!

Squeezing fruit and veg full of vitamins and minerals means your body is supercharged with energy. Rather like filling up your car with the best type of engine oil rather than Some really poor grade engine oil that hasnt been changed in ages!!


Losing weight

Youre probably wondering when I was going to mention this. It's just what you have been 'weighting' for (sorry!!) You probably know the answer, It could well be why you have reached this point. We all like out high fat, sugar laden foods (Unless you're not quite normal and most likely are not reading this anyway!) and what I love about juicing fresh fruit and vegetables is their natural sweetness, Only that which is natural and healthy not processed.
