Eating salty and fatty food increases blood pressure
. In this situation, you might feel like your chest is about to explode, experience a clicking sound in your ears or experience severe headaches. These are signs that your blood pressure is going up to a higher level which is a sign of being unhealthy in the sense that your arteries are clogged - for it prevents the smooth flow of blood to the heart and the brain. If not given proper attention either through prescribed medications or natural ways, then serious effects can be expected. These are the occurrences of heart attack, heart failure or stroke as the case may be.
Having high blood pressure poses a great danger to one's health. It is a silent killer which catches people unawares. Do not allow this to continue overtime. Do some intervention to maintain a healthy blood pressure.
Even without your doctor's intervention, you can do it your own. How? Just have diet changes with regular exercise or activity and a change in your lifestyle. As far as diet changes are concerned, it is necessary to maintain a healthy diet- one rich in fibers like fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, a diet consisting of protein rich foods like those rich in omega 3 fatty acids which can be found in fish. Reduce or if possible avoid the consumption of coffee because as stimulants these are not good to our heart health. Instead prefer to drink juices from fresh fruits like oranges or acai berry fruits. Or, drink the required glasses of water which is at least eight glasses of water per day for the purpose of washing toxins from our systems.
Regular exercise or activity is needed by our body for the purpose of stretching muscles as well as preventing the arteries from clogging so that blood will continue to flow normally to the heart and to the brain. This exercise includes walking, strolling, jogging, running, bicycling, and aerobics, dancing, swimming or engaging in sports activities. These can help build our muscles and make the entire body strong and healthy. Regular exercise can be done at least thirty minutes daily for three days in a week.
In addition, doing physical activities which involves movement of the body can substitute for bodily exercises. These physical activities include gardening or doing any of the household choirs is important for our body's health.
Moreover, yoga and meditation can also help maintain a calm mind and body. These can eliminate stress, pressure and anxiety because doing these activities you are placing your body and mind in a more relaxing situations.
If in the past you have been indulged to different vices like smoking, alcohol or prohibited drugs or abusing your body for a night life with less sleep, this is now the right time to change your lifestyle. Avoid all of these. Determination is necessary. Once you do it, then there's a new YOU who is now healthy without worries of high blood pressure or any kind of sickness.
