Iron needs not to be left out in healthy eating habit during pregnancy. Iron is essential for oxygen supply. You and your baby need sufficient supply of iron during pregnancy. It lessens the probability if pregnancy-related anemia. It is also vital to avoid symptoms of depression. Get adequate amount of iron by eating meat, liver, legumes and pasta.
Healthy eating during pregnancy can be achieved by plotting a simple daily menu. Include foods which are rich sources of the nutrients essential for a healthy pregnancy. If possible, consult a pregnancy dietician or nutritionist to ensure that you are getting all the required nutrients for your pregnancy. Consider preparing and cooking different dishes. For example, you can prepare an iron-rich snack by cooking spaghetti. Top it with cheese, liver, mushroom and ground meat. Garnish it will bell pepper. Drink cold strawberry milk afterwards.
