Another great exercise is tennis. A lot of people like tennis too. In my opinion, this might be even better than football. Tennis involves running and hitting, so it will work the lower and upper body, just like football. However, in football, you are throwing, and that is easier on your muscles than hitting. And usually only the quarterback throws the ball. Also, in tennis, you are doing a different type of running. When you run in football or any other sport, you are running straight most of the time. However, in tennis, you are running left to right, back and forth, and you are zigzagging. The constant sprinting and stopping will work your cardio and strengthen you leg muscles. That is because when you skid to a halt, your leg muscles are contracting to stop you. You can even try to switch arms to make sure that you are exercising both arms and that one doesn't get spoiled!

Lastly, I have swimming. Swimming perhaps isn't as fun as the sports above, but it'll help you get fit much quicker. Swimming will tone all your muscles due to the reseitance provided from water. It will also work your cardio because of the oxygen being used over a long period of time. It will even help you lose much more weight! Swimming will make you lose a certain type of fat that makes up most of your body weight. If you don't like swimming, you can take a shot at water polo. However, this certain sport is very demanding. You must tread water for over an hour. The average person can only last about 10-15 minutes. If you can mange it, I strongly recommend playing water polo daily.

Incorporate exercise into you life


When you hear the title above, you usually think of stuff like taking the stairs or walking to work. But those waste time! And that's not good, right? So instead of using up time to exercise, you can make things harder and go faster. One way is to run somewhere. If you walk to school, work, etc. you can decide to run. This will help you get there quicker and make you work yourself. Another way is to simply multitask. You can read or write when you are working yourself on a calf-raise machine or on a treadmill. You can lift weights or do some other simply exercises when watching TV. You can even incorporate some exercise into your relax time.

Eating right

These previous tips will help you tremendously to get fit, but bad eating habits will cancel out the benefits of these. So choose good foods to eat. For breakfast, you can replace your sugary cereal with some fiber or protein cereal. Getting cereal that's fortified with nearly all the nutrient will nearly make your day complete. Try some low fat milk and fruit with your breakfast everyday. Whole grains will help too. Then lunch can be quite heavy. Studies prove that a heavier lunch with a lighter dinner will help a person lose more weight. Dinner can be a simple salad. You can cut down on snacks or make them healthy (carrot sticks, protein bars, etc). Eliminating sauce can easily cut down on fat.
