What this means is that a lot of energy is dissipated in the shifting from one direction to the other.

May attract negative attention - Just like any other wind turbine, the helical or vertical wind turbine may bring out some negative feedback from the community in which you live. This issue is really more about the community's perception of wind turbines in general and has very little to do with your particular device. However, you may want to check out your community reaction before you buy one of these. It could well be that the helical wind turbine is a perfect solution for you though.
