Coloring Pages are a great way to entertain your kids, anytime and anywhere. They are easy to transport, store, prepare and use. Yes, they really are easy in every way. Best of all I love how cheap it is to just browse the web, find some good images, print them out on my home printer and then I am ready to begin. It's a great opportunity for quality time with the kids, not only browsing the web and letting them choose the pictures they want but also when I sit with them, helping them and prompting them to tell me about the scene, colors they are using and what is happening in it.

My eldest is really showing great signs of creativity and will often add in extra detail to the picture. Background items such as cars, trees, houses, clouds, dogs, birds and much more are all crammed in every bit of white space! Then she insists on "autographing" her work which I feel is fantastic as I can see over time how all the extra practice at signing her name is really paying off. Her letters have got much clearer over time.
