3.By thermal radiation

In a vaporizer based on thermal radiation, all that user have to do is to subject the substance to bright light, which then absorbs radiant energy, thus raising the temperature. If you have a pipe and a magnifying glass on a bright, sunny day, with proper care and practice, it acts as an adequate radiation vaporizer.

Apart from being used as an alternative to smoking, herbal vaporizers are also used in the food and beverage industry. These are used by chefs as a method of applying controlled heat to herbs and spices to release flavors that are difficult to titrate.
