? To answer this question, I will be providing information as to why there are many Herbalife complaints. Lets begin!

The reason that there are many Herbalife complaints is this. As you know, Herbalife is a multi-level marketing (MLM) business opportunity. A MLM business model is outstanding for the company itself, but is very difficult for an individual. For the actual business, MLM is a very cost-effective way for Herbalife to introduce their products and business to a multitude of people in a very short period of time. Once a MLM company is able to recruit a few high performing distributors to join them, their products and business opportunity will spread like wild fire throughout the market place. For example, lets say a Distributor knows 100 people, and those people also know 100 people. Herbalife has just expanded their name recognition to more than 10,000 individuals. This is a very simple illustration, but proves that MLM is a very powerful model to market a business and their products.

Now, for the individual who joins a MLM company, this is a very different story. They are encouraged to share their products and business opportunity with everyone that they know. This seems very easy on the surface, but many find out that this is much more difficult than they realized. Many people fail in MLM, because we as individuals simply do not know enough people to make a business of this magnitude a true success. We quickly over-saturate our warm market, and then run into a deadend. This is why you see many Herbalife complaints, and many other company complaints regarding MLM businesses.

This however, does not make Herbalife a scam. Herbalife offers a wide product line of high quality products. This does however, prove that the business opportunity that Herbalife offers is not going to be best suited for everyone. Not everyone is cut out to build a business from encouraging their loved ones to purchase products, and then recruit them into the business opportunity.

If you are certain that you want to build this business, but want to dramatically increase your chances of success, you will need to learn how to market. If an individual possessed the skill set to truly market this business outside of their warm market, they could do extremely well. If individuals continue to join Herbalife, and insist on utilizing their warm market to build this business, there will be many more Herbalife complaints in the future.
