Here are the signs of the end
Hostility. "And you will hear of wars and rumours of wars". For nations will rise against nations and kingdom against kingdom". Matthew 24:6-7.
All over the world are news of hostility or the other. Hostility fuelled by man's greed, hatred for one another ,and selfish contentions for supremacy. In Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and several other nations, are in war. Brothers against brothers, tribe against tribe, everyone struggling to gain vanity.
The driving force of all the conflicts are, struggle to acquire power, to control state resources, to amass wealth and pleasures of this dying world.
What a dying generation! The world is yet to believe the Bible, which says, "that all is vanity". The world is deep in the pursuit of vanity, and in the process, trample and kill one another.
Devil has so much promoted lust, and blinded this generation, to seek what does not matter and ignore the things that matters. We need to be informed that, "There is nothing gained under the sin". Ecclesiastes 2:11. Let him who is wise learn from King Solomon, and pursue righteousness, Ecclesiastes 12:13-14.
"And there will be famine"Matthew 24:7.Hunger is another sign of the last days. Famine means, very serious lack of food, and this leads to mass death. Early 2009, Kenya experienced a serious drought that affected agriculture, vegetation and killed many animals.
In 2008, there was worldwide shortage of rice, the worlds most staple food. This shot the price of rice above the reach of the common man. In 2010,Madagascar agricultural wealth experienced swarms of locust, which left major farmlands ravaged and created massive hunger in the whole nation.
Another source of famine is the exploding population in the world, especially in countries like India, China and Africa. Many citizens of these countries are malnourished due to poverty. The danger is, subsequent governments pay little attention to agriculture, while the population is increasing, the production of food keeps decreasing. This is disaster.
The recent nuclear testing and toxic emission globally has, and is still affecting the production of food worldwide. In the years to come, no one knows what lies ahead of man. The world needs prayers.Read more in my e-book Catalogue of the last days.
