This drink is recommended for people of any age, because it quenches thirst, regulates appetite and improves digestion. It is noticed that the cold drink decreases the blood pressure and the hot drink increases the blood pressure. In karkade there are no incentive components, so you can give this drink to even little children at any time of the day and in any reasonable quantity.

To brew karkade tea is very easy. Pour one teaspoon of karkade dried leaves with one glass of boiling water and wait for 2-3 minutes. Then you can add a little citric acid or lemon peel, if you wish.

Also karkade is an excellent beverage for athletes. You can take a lightly sweetened with honey cool drink with you on training. Also you can add a little pinch of salt to the drink to restore the salt balance of the organism.
