Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) is offering its high performance 902 MHz to 928 MHz RFID reader which features innovative "AutoPHY". It is developed for use in industrial applications where high read rates are required such as supply chain, portals, loading dock doorways, and warehousing.
RFID technology is facilitating a major innovation to Supply Chain Management. GAO RFID has a full compliment of EPC GEN 2 compliant solutions. GAO RFID's software, readers, tags and printers are designed for use in the supply chain. LocateWare is universal RFID reader software designed to facilitate the tracking and movement of goods in and out of a facility and between zones. GAO also has full range of RFID readers which include the GenTop, a desktop RFID reader that can read/write one tag at a time to versatile handheld terminals for portable operation to the RFID industry's number one fixed reader.
This UHF Gen 2 RFID reader, model 236026, offers a wide portfolio of configuration and enterprise management tools and features best-in-class air interface and multi-protocol agility. The reader is available in 4 and 8 antenna port options allowing for mono-static or bi-static configuration. It supports three operating modes including Single Interrogator, Multiple Interrogator and Dense Interrogator.
The multi-protocol UHF RFID reader is compliant with EPC Class 1 Gen 2, ISO 18000-6B and ISO 18000-6C standards and features increased sensitivity while still rejecting interference in challenging dense reader environments. The bi-static configuration further enhances sensitivity in support of future Class 3 and "Battery Assisted Passive" (BAP) tag protocols. In addition, the reader provides an intuitive installation wizard allowing the user to be able to begin reading tags within minutes.
This UHF Gen 2 RFID reader belongs to GAO's family of 900 MHz RFID readers. The line includes a wide variety of RFID readers to meet customers' different needs. Some other products are offered for selection such as 860 to 960 MHz 4 Port Gen 2 RFID Reader Writer, Fixed 4 Port Reader, UHF Gen 2 Bluetooth and USB Handheld Reader/Writer which are well-suited for use in industrial applications where high read rates are required.
