High Productivity Demands for Online Marketers
Is clearing out your computer a productivity enhancement
? It was for me, the improved performance was remarkable although that is not why I did it. I did it because it was full of rubbish, I then set about my laptops and did the same exercise and achieved similar performance improvements. As a result of the performance improvements I have scheduled the clearing out exercise to be done every 6 months. So that is my hardware sorted and all I need to do now is attend to my products and offerings in the Market. Wrong! Although I have automatic updates set positively and often have to wait for them to download and install, I thought I would look at my key programmes and see if they were all optimised. Surprise surprise they were not, so I spent the next 2 hours downloading updates and enhancements. Now there is another chore that is diarised for a 6 month review. Another productivity improvement I hope. I have to hope because I cannot quantify it but it has to be the right thing to do. Now I can get to the sexy stuff, contacting my affiliates is always good and I really look forward to it, in fact I very often contact them twice a week. At least the friendly ones. Then I have to ensure all my sites are working and the buy buttons are not stuck. Whoops there is one that is not working I wonder when that went down and how much it cost in lost sales, oh well it is alright now. Any way to check that everything is working took me 3 hours including the corrections. I think I will do this weekly from now on so in the diary it goes. Thinking about it I should diarize contact with my affiliates too. I have a number of people that I mentor and that contact is based on need and demand so cannot be strictly diarised. My social Marketing is though I spend 2 hours a day on this and enjoy the profits so not for re- scheduling. Is that something that I am doing right? Actually I must do awful lot right because I make a good living thank you. What all this means is that there is a tremendous amount to be done to create higher productivity because a lot of what is done now is either unnecessary, comfortable or lazy. Marketing on the Internet is great fun, interesting, challenging, frustrating but most of all rewarding. I have no idea why we do not take a leaf out of the conventional marketers book. They have to plan and diarise their activity because most of their work is done at the personal interface which means they have to travel or people have to travel to visit them. Internet Marketers do their work online and do not have to leave home. Potentially then online Marketing productivity runs at a much higher level which means the individual is going to enjoy higher incomes as a result. Planning is the key to high income success and self-discipline is the driver. The will to be the best of the best has to replace the wish to be the best of the best. If you can master your productive time and apply a distinct self-discipline you are ready for your next online challenge, one that can keep you occupied for as many hours as you have available.
