Diapers are undoubtedly an integral part of a baby's growing up years and disposable

diapers are largely preferred by working parents for their convenience. Invented by Marion Donovan of the US, disposable diapers are a very expensive baby accessory. However, they are chosen by parents who are largely pressed for time.

It is for this reason that practically every nursery will have a well-stocked changing station to keep baby essentials like diapers and T-shirts close at hand. Depending on your budget and space available will dictate what is most appropriate.

When you are setting up baby's nursery, you may want to consider buying a diaper changing table. A well designed changing table holds the supplies you need to care for the baby at diaper-changing time. Once you have your baby on the changing table and have removed the diaper it is unsafe to leave the baby unattended whilst you go in search for the items you need to complete the change, so it is for this reason the changing station is so essential. It may be more practical to obtain a changing table with dresser drawers which can convert into a dresser or desk to be used later when baby is older and no longer in diapers

You will have diapers and wipes to buy, in endless supply, bottles, formula, blankets, burp pads, cribs, bedding, toys, etc. Stock the changing table with clean diapers, baby powder and baby creams keeping them within easy reach. Choose a dresser that meets your needs for storing and organizing clothing, diapers, and baby supplies, or maybe even toys and books. All these items can safely be stored within the drawers or cupboard areas.

Diapers, which have the capacity to absorb a lot, are often coated with a special absorbent material that keeps the diaper dry each time it is soiled. These diapers are usually of the disposable types as they get too heavy and dirty to wash and reuse, although, some brands do market reusable heavy absorbent diapers. They are mostly preferred by those adults who are unable to constantly change their soiled diapers.
