When article directories accept your articles and published, you are scoring valuable back links to your website. Moreover, if other webmasters feel that your articles are good, they will republish your articles on their websites with the Author Resource Box intact. This further increases the number of back links to your site.

2. Directory submission:- Submit your website to search engine friendly directories like DMOZ, Yahoo Directory, BOTW, etc or get the link building services to do it for you. Most directories are free but some popular ones like Yahoo Directory and BOTW require a submission fee.

3. Social book marking. Submit your website to various popular social book marking sites and gain popular back links. But you need to make sure that the sites are do-follow.
