Hilton Signs Agreement To Convert The Royal Ascot Into Doubletree By Hilton Bur Dubai

Hilton Worldwide has signed an agreement with Khamas Group of Investment Companies

to rebrand The Royal Ascot as a new DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Dubai.

The 174-room property will be rebranded in 2013 and it will open to tourists taking Dubai holidays from January 2015 onwards after two years of extensive renovations and upgrades.

"I'm delighted that today's announcement brings us closer to our goal of establishing five of the company's brands into the UAE local market within the next two years," commented Rudi Jagersbacher, the Area President of Hilton Worldwide, Middle East & Africa.

"Dubai's continued status as a main regional economic hub for the Middle East gives us confidence to launch new brands in the city and provide more options for the growing number of visitors."

The rebranded hotel will be called DoubleTree by Hilton Bur Dubai and will cater for tourists going on holidays in Dubai as well as business travellers.

Situated within the heart of the city in the popular Bur Dubai district, the hotel is conveniently positioned near the diplomatic district, Dubai's main port and the famous Dubai Creek, offering an array of traditional souks, historic buildings and museums,

DoubleTree by Hilton Bur Dubai will stand out from surrounding Dubai hotels with its collection of new upscale business and leisure facilities including a swimming pool, health club, spa, business centre, meeting rooms and spacious conference hall.

When planning holidays in Dubai at the newly re-branded hotel, guests will be able to enjoy an impeccable level of service from the moment they arrive. Visitors will receive a signature chocolate chip cookie upon check in; they will enjoy rewards with the Hilton Honours guest loyalty programme; and the wide range of amenities and guest services allows holidaymakers and business guests to relax within a modern and comfortable environment.

This is the second Doubletree by Hilton hotel to join the brand's collection of hotels in Dubai. The DoubleTree by Hilton Al Barsha Hotel & Residence is due to open for luxury holidays at the end of this year.
