Sure, Spain played an untried goal-keeper inthe first half, but thatis no reason for why Spain should not havescored goals in the other end of the field.

The friendly match will mean little statistically.

However, defending champions of the World Cup simplydo not have the luxury of meaningless games. Every match has meaning, and every result has value.
