Love It, Reasonable & Great Staff!

I have lived here for almost 3 years. I find it to be nice, quiet, convenient, and reasonably priced. All these people complaining about price obviously have never looked around in the West End..ever since they started building this area up, prices have soared. I pay close to $1000 a month..this includes my rent, my monthly pet rent for 2 cats, and my utilities. We have 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, a spacious living room, washer and dryer IN the apartment (that sure beats living in the Fan). ANY time we have had maintenance problems, they have fixed it immediately.the same day. We have had our dishwasher replaced TWICE, dryer replaced, air conditioning fixed (when they didn't have the part, they gave us temp window units for the inconvenience). The staff is ALL really friendly. The pool is awesome. There is PLENTY of parking. Very little crime. And a lot of shopping within a 10 block radius.

Complaining on here about your neighbors has NOTHING to do with your landlord.unless you reported it, and they did nothing to fix it. If you report pets, neighbors, whatever, they WILL fix it here. (just read your lease, or call and ask, they will make you happy)

I personally, have never heard any noise from neighbors. The apts are all carpeted and well insulated. I NEVER hear them walking, or phones ringing or any of that.

My only cons:

Outdated appliances (but they did replace with new ones, when old ones broke), my electricity bill can be high (although I do live on the bottom floor, so since heat rises..I do have to crank the heat higher than most), and an outdated gym..they need to fix some of the equipment.

I would highly recommend this place. It is not perfect, but what do you expect when you RENT and not BUY.

Don't Move Into Hickory Creek Apts

Years at this apartment: 2009 2009 This is the worst place I have ever lived in my life. The neighbors are loud. The walls are thin. I had a pipe bust in my apt. Ruined all my belongings. Shoes, cloths photos. The carpet was soak and wet. They hooked up big commercial fans in my apt. This dragged my electric bill way up. The fans ran all daya and night. Very loud. They tore the ceiling down. The walls were peeling. I couldnt watch tv or get on line. They said they could offer me a vacant apt to stay in. A vacant apt! With no furniture or bed even. Just carpet and floor. All they could say was I'm sorry. They would listen to me and just I'm sorry. I had mildew in my apt. They turned off the water to my washing machine so I could wash the mildewed towels or clothes. People allow their dogs to run free here without a leash. Mean dogs. My car got broke into here. This is like getto in the west end.

Years at this apartment: 2010 2010 This place used to be a real luxury property.its now the projects!!!Not only are the neighbors excessively loud but the apartments are infested with roaches!!! Not a roach here or there, but colonies of ROACHES!!!.. Management turns a deaf ear to your complaints but expect you to pay rent on time for this kind of living.The kids smoke weed at the back of the property and they deal drugs here as well.This is the WORST place to live..howeverI heard the old manager is back.hopefully she can get things straight..DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!
