History on Wheels is a unique museum showcasing a large collection of motor vehicles, military artefacts and other memorabilia from civilian and wartime fronts that date back to the period between the 1900's to the 1950's. However, the main emphasis of the museum is its extensive motor collection that is sure to amaze visitors with its historic significance and ancient charm. Be prepared to journey into the tumultuous times of World War I and World War II, and glimpse what life was like during this historic period.

The building in which History on Wheels is housed in was originally constructed to be a riding school. During the latter part of the 1970's it became home to what stands today as a famous and significant history museum. Much of the motor vehicles and military artefacts found at History on Wheels belong to Tony Oliver, a private collector who is deeply interested in researching life during the 20th century, especially during the 1st and 2nd World Wars. The historic and educational value of his private collection led to his collection being made available for public visitation.

Various exhibits of historic vehicles and militaria can be seen at History on Wheels. A cinema is also found within the complex. In here, videos pertaining to how the vehicles on display at the museum are used can be seen.
