Visiting a foreign country actually means that you have to prepare yourself for a number of things

. So there is no news that some of the things that we find normal can actually be inappropriate in some countries.

It is always good to find out some more things about the country that you are planning to visit. For example, in some countries the clothing options are strictly monitored because of some harsh rules. When visiting a country in the Far East you have to take with you only outfits that are decent and that are not revealing. Tourists should be attentive to respect the rules in the countries they are visiting in order to make sure that they don't get into trouble. When you are going to Germany you should be aware that if you drop any litter on the street, accidentally or not, you could end up paying a large fine. They take cleanness very seriously and so should you.

Another thing that you should research is what type of food they serve in that country. There are places where people only eat very spicy food, places like India for instance. Also, in some countries eating fried insects is like eating delicatessen. Being on holiday means experimenting however, if you feel that you might get sick after this type of meal then you should not eat it. Experimenting is fun but there is a limit for everything.

The European countries have the Euro as the national currency but there are some countries that have other currencies. And as money is such an important aspect of any trip you should not forget to research what is the currency in the country you are about to visit.
