Varanasi is also known as Banaras and Kashi. It is older than the oldest cities of the world. We can get appreciation of the city in every holy scripts of the world. It has been praised by every tourist because Varanasi is totally impossible to describe in the words.

Varanasi is the holiest city of the world and it has been rightly called the city of temples, city of priests and saints. Above all, this is city of Lord Shiva who is the abode of all type of knowledge. Varanasi is safest place of the universe which is hypothetical; it is called by city of supreme super souls and super brains. Since the very dawn of the religious history of the world, it has been praised by saints, travelers, traders, Leaders and historians. None could control the temptation or greed of the appreciating Banaras.

Varanasi is also known for Sanskrit. Countless writers, poets and learnt personalities have remained associated with the name of this city. Sanskrit was used in the writings of holy scripts. As we know well that Hinduism is the richest source of metaphysical knowledge. Sanskrit is just like the ocean of knowledge and its scholars are like rivers who contribute it with the water of their knowledge.

There are number of beautiful forts also. The palace of the king of Banaras is very famous for its architect. This is the capital of the cultural activities of the Purwanchal as well as India. A program from the all India Radio Varanasi is unique type in their nature. People from neighboring districts came and participate in the cultural movements of the city.

Varanasi is not famous only for its religion, music and cultural activities only. This is famous for its economic values also. This is remembered for its commercial activities too. It has remained prominent center of world trade since very down of history of trade and commerce.

Varanasi city is famous for its own style and food habits. The food habits of the people of this city have been greatly influenced by Hindu Religion and culture. This is famous for its Kachari and Paan.

Other bright stars in the sky of politics were Acharya Narendra Datta, Dr. Sampoorna Nand, Lal Bahadur Shashtri, Pandeet Kamla Pati Tripathi etc. There were number of leaders whose names were associated with this great political center of the world. Even the name of Chandra Shekhar Azad is also connected with this city.

In the last I want to state that none in the world is able enough to describe this city exactly as it is. We can say that Varanasi is wonderful city.
