An Ice Breaker game is a game where people talk a little about themselves to everyone, which helps make connections with the other people at the party and tells you the consultant what products they may be interested in. An example of an Ice Breaker game: You need a roll of toilet paper. Ask everyone to take off as much as they want. After everyone has their toilet paper sheets, you tell them, for each sheet they tore off, they must tell one thing about themselves. As a consultant you should take off a lot of sheets, this way you can talk about your business, what you do as a consultant and why you love your job. After everyone has done this, you tell them they that while unraveling the thread from their finger, they have to talk about themselves. Again, you would take a lot of thread so you can talk about you and your business. These games are both Ice Breakers, but a little different. With the toilet paper game, each sheet provides one piece of information about a person. With the thread on a spool game, it is continuous talking. Games are great to get people chatting to one another, to you and the host. Party games help with getting your customers to look through the catalog, look at your products and it helps get them thinking about what products would be good for them.
