. It is because you have to do lots of works involved in this process which make you tired, tense and stressful. Packing is one of the most important jobs in every kinds of relocation which decides the stress level. If you are able to pack your goods properly you well be certainly able to make your goods shift hassle free and comfortable. In order to pack your valuable household goods and belongings you should start packing or preparation of packing at least 3 or 4 weeks before you move. You should gather packing supplies or materials like boxes, bubble wraps, cartons, wrapping sheets, issue papers, tapes, scissors, ropes, newspapers, etc well in advance prior you start packing goods and items. To pack goods properly you should also know how to do the job in an efficient and organized way. Here are some tips and suggestions which can help safe your time and goods from damage.
Gather more strong packing boxes and cartons than you think you will need in order to pack goods and items properly.
Strengthen the bottoms of boxes or cartons with at least on strip of heavy duty packaging tape.
Pack boxes or cartons strongly and securely to prevent the valuable goods and items against damage during the process of transportation.
Use neat and clean papers or good cushion materials for padding inside the boxes or cartons.
Separate all tings with old newspapers to prevent scratches and even breakage.
Put heavier items in the bottom of the box and lighter items on the top.
Wrap fragile items with bubble wraps or good quality wrapping sheets before placing them inside the boxes.
Use towels, cottons, curtains, bed sheets, linens, etc to pad boxes of highly fragile or breakable items.
Remove lids from ceramic objects and wrap each with separately using good quality wrapping sheets or bubble wraps.
Seal open bottles with heavy duty tape before you pack them. It is good for avoiding leakage.
Use an extra large strong carton for lampshades and pad them well using good cushioning or padding materials. Remove bulbs before you pack lamps.
Disassemble furniture if you can or if it is possible. Put hardware, bolts, etc from disassembled furniture together in plastic bag.
Leave clothes in dresser drawers and hang clothes in wardrobe boxes. You can pack some clothes in suitcases.
Wrap very small items in bright colored tissue so they will not get lost. Pack room-by-room, keeping similar items together.
Wrap picture or photo frames using enough layers of wrapping sheets and place them in boxes between sheet and blankets for added protection.
Wrap plates with bubble wraps in put in boxes on end vertically not stacked.
Make a list of your household goods you have packed. Also make a list of number of boxes you have to transport to your new residence.
After completion of packing and boxing, label each box and its room destination.
