Home remedies for urinary tract infection in humans can be used very successfully
to eradicate this painful and often debilitating condition-particularly if the infection is mild or in its early stages. Home treatment is a great alternative to antibiotic treatment which often has only short term benefits and comes with unpleasant side effects including yeast infections and stomach upsets.
More and more alternative practitioners are recommending using home remedies for urinary tract infection in humans and these can broadly be split into four categories-What you eat, personal issues,getting symptomatic relief and what you drink.
1. Your Diet
Eating a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables can help to boost your immune system which can help to supplement the beneficial bacteria in the urinary tract and bladder. 2. Personal Issues

4. Beverages
It is really important to drink at least 6-8 glasses of water, spread fairly evenly over the day. Unsweetened cranberry juice can help stop bacteria sticking to the bladder walls and so add in a couple of glasses daily. Avoid drinking caffeinated drinks, as these can cause irritation, as can alcohol. Sugary drinks should be avoided and in general, you are best sticking to simple diluted fruit juices and water.
