It is also rich in squalene which is an antioxidant that has similar properties with human sebum. Squalene can help in skin regeneration and also in maintaining the natural moisture of the skin. Moisturizing the skin is very important because it will maintain the skin's elasticity. Maintaining the elasticity of the skin is also important especially in preventing the stretch marks.
These home remedies are applied topically. It may take some time before you can see actual results but these methods are cost-effective. Aside from these topical applications, you should also modify your diet by eating foods that are rich in vitamins A, D, and E because these vitamins can help in nourishing the skin and keeping it healthy. Fruits and vegetables are rich in these vitamins so it is important to increase your intake of these foods in order to keep your skin healthy and minimize the occurrence of stretch marks.
