If you have children then you need to include them in your home security thinking

. Lets face it, you want them to be as safe and secure as possible and this means that you need to talk with them about all the different security issues.

Everyone needs to protect their home locations and their kids from attacks by intruders. Sometime intruders, like thieves intend to attack house owner to take control of the property. They might hurt you or your children physically inside the house.

Here is a list of things you should bring up with them, and remember, it is never too young to talk with your child about keeping them safe.

Explain to them the importance of shutting and locking doors and windows. Obviously you dont want to scare them but you need to stress to them how important it is that they shut and lock doors and windows. You could turn it into a game to make it more fun.

Tell them that when they answer the door they should always ask the person who they are if they dont know them and to never tell anyone they dont know anything about them, their family or their house. They should never say their parents are not home, even if they are not. This is very important as criminals use the honesty of children to find out as much information as they can.

Make sure that when they answer the phone they also ask who it is and never say that they are home alone. Criminals will pretend to be anyone on the phone to try and get details so tell them not to give any information out at all.

Make a list of emergency numbers for your children so if they need to call, they can do so without your help.

With the rate at which people are getting mugged, robbed, raped, pillaged and killed during scuffles and home break-ins, it is not surprising if an individual wonders if he needs complete security system.
