The first floor windows are the entry point for about 23% of burglaries. Too often windows are left unlocked even when care has been taken to lock all of the doors. Defend against burglary entries through the windows by installing good sash locks and by installing a wireless alarm system. The sound of a loud alarm system will attract attention and deter most burglars.

A wireless alarm system is one that most homeowners can install themselves. Without electrical wiring to worry about the installation of a good wireless system is straightforward.
