In this entire write up, I will be sharing some information about the king size bed
dimensions as well as its comparisons to some other beds and their dimensions too. In addition, I am going to tackle some of the basics in the bedroom here.
These are the following dimensions for the standard king size bed:
Mattress size - 76 x 80 inches / 198 x 203 cm
Fitted Sheet size - 76 x 80 inches / 198 x 203 cm
Flat Sheet size - 108 x 102 inches / 274 x 259 cm
Comforter size - 100 x 90 inches / 254 x 229 cm
The following are the California King Size bed dimensions:
Mattress size - 72 x 84 inches / 182 x 213 cm
Fitted Sheet size - 72 x 84 inches / 182 x 213 cm
Flat Sheet size - 108 x 102 inches / 274 x 259 cm
Comforter size - 100 x 90 inches / 254 x 259 cm
We could see above the difference between the Mattress sizes and the Fitted ones. Now, I am going to discuss more of the basics of bedroom.
Also, it is required to follow the standards which should be at least quarter only of the room for the bed. It should have an allowance for more space so that the person can move comfortably and freely. If it is bigger than the required allotment then I must say that you should replace it with a smaller one.
You need also to make sure that there is an enough support for the head. You need to have some good quality pillows and provide some if it is needed. If it still does not give you the comfort that you needed then you might want to replace your mattress.
You need also to choose the headboards for your bed. There are so many to choose from and if you are not able to find one then I think that you got to do it yourself alone. Then, try to have some good old sheers so you could achieve the look that you want for the room.
