They are easy to use and light on pocket because most of the items are already there in their kitchen! So, next time you need to use a facial mask, or an exfoliant or any kind of remedy for oily/dry skin, turn to those products present in your home to create various homemade skin treatments that which will do wonder for your skin.

Use about 1 tbsp. of baking soda and warm water each to create a mixture in a saucer. Make sure to stir it thoroughly with a spoon before massaging the mixture on your skin. Use a circular motion while doing so for exfoliating your skin.

Fill a large plastic bottle with 1/2 cup of pure liquid castile soap or mild liquid soap, same amount of warm distilled water, 1 tbsp. of vegetable glycerine and 1/4th cup of pure honey. Close the bottle with its cap and then shake thoroughly to make sure all the ingredients get mixed thoroughly. You can use this as your daily hand soap or body wash.

To create a good moisturizer for your skin, mix 5 drops of lavender essential oil with cup each of Shea butter and jojoba oil. Use an empty plastic container to mix all of these thoroughly with a wooden spoon or a plastic spoon. This mixture is perfect for dry skin.

Another great homemade facial can be made by mixing 1 tbsp. of each of banana and avocado with tsp. of water thoroughly using a fork. The consistency should be smooth before you spread it on your face. Keep about 15 minutes before washing off with warm water. If you want to use it for you whole body, increase the proportions of the ingredients for a greater amount.

In the next mask made in home, you will need 1 tsp. each of milk powder and pure lemon juice, and mix it with tsp. of egg white. Use a plastic bowl for it and mix using a fork or wire whisk. Now liberally spread it over your neck and face. Rinse off with warm water after keeping it for about 20 minutes.For the next homemade facial, which also acts as body scrub, you will need cup of goat milk, 1/4th cup baking soda and about 1/4th cup of plain oatmeal flakes. In a large bowl, mix all of them with a fork. In this mixture, pour the content of about two organic green tea bags and 1/4th cup of jojoba oil. After thoroughly blending all the materials, apply it liberally all over your body and face. Scrub your body well before washing off.

Cucumber is one ingredient that is frequently used in various types of homemade facial. In one version, puree about 2" piece of cucumber in a blender and into the puree add 1 egg white, 1 tsp. each of witch hazel and pure lemon juice and 2 tbsp. of milk powder. Use a fork or wire whisk to whip all these into a smooth mixture. Apply liberally all over your face and leave for 20 minutes. Then wash off with warm water.
