Homemade Manicure Tips
A manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the fingernails and hands enjoyed by both sexes
. A manicure can treat just the hands, just the nails, or both. A standard manicure would usually include filing and shaping of the nails and the application of polish. French manicure is the latest and popular method in the nail fashion. A similar treatment performed on the feet is a pedicure.
Beauty home remedies are at hand whether you are interested in skin care or hair care. If you have dry hair for example, massages with mayonnaise or olive oil are the perfect solution for you. If, on the other hand you have oily hair, try a paste made of boiled carrots and your problem will be history.
Doing a manicure and pedicure at home can be easy; you don't have to be a great painter as long as you can stay in the lines. At home, manicures will also save you some cash instead of going out to the salon. If your chipped or ragged nails are driving you nuts, here is a way to clean them up and get yourself looking like you have just left the salon.
Here's what you need for a manicure and pedicure kit:
1. Cotton balls, nail oil, emery boards, a small bowl, towels, and finger nail polish remover. Make a list of these items for your next shopping trip.
2. Go to your local discount retail store to buy your supplies. Even dollar discount stores carry inexpensive manicure items.
3. For applying polish, you will need a good base coat, a color, and a topcoat.
4. For pedicures, you will need a pumice stone to remove calluses, and a larger emery board to file toe nails.
Take glycerin and rose water. Mix 1/3 cup of glycerin and 2/3 cups of rose water. Combine the two by putting them in a bottle and shaking it well. Massage into your hands as often as possible. You can store in cool dry place to use later. Glycerin is humectants that are it attracts moisture to your skin. Therefore it is important to use it to rehydrate your skin.
Since your hands have less sebaceous gland than the rest of your body it will cause them to age quicker and become dryer at a quicker pace. There are many available hydrating lotions that can help solve this problem. Try to get one that uses vitamin E or hemp to make sure they stay well hydrated. If you often go outdoors, especially if you live in very sunny areas, you probably should consider putting light UV protection cream.
White wax and sodium benzoate used with any skin oil can be treated for dry skin. Powder some turmeric at home and mix the same with fresh milk cream. This helps the skin in the cleansing process. Appling cucumber on the face on the exposed areas of the sun. This is natural way to erase the sun tan and sun burn. Using heavy cold creams clogs the pores and encourages acne.
