Homemade Shampoo for Healthy Hair

For effective cleaning of hair, shampooing your hair regularly is very important. Not only is the type of shampoo important but also the quantity. Women with short
hair style do not need to use more than 6ml of shampoo. On the other hand, people with long hair can use up to 10ml. This may vary for each individual, so it's better if you also experiment and find the exact amount which suits your hair.
Shampoos sold in stores are often very expensive and you may not find the shampoo to suit your hair type. Those shampoos are full of chemicals which can ruin your hair in a longer run. So, why don't you use a homemade shampoo? Here is a very simple recipe.
Take 2 spoonfuls of chopped soap-wort root and mix it with the same amount of nettle leaves and burdock root. Boil 2 glasses and pour it over the mixture previously made.
After thirty minutes take the herbs out and cool the liquid a bit more. The liquid now is ready for use. Use it on your hair while bathing. Massage your hair lightly with tips of your fingers with round movements. Massage the front part of your head, then both sides, then the top and finally the part above your neck at the back. Take thirty seconds to gently massage every part. Massage is very effective in stimulating the blood circulation and increasing hair growth.
Always use cool water for the final rinsing which helps to close the hair shells (this locks the moisture in the hair) and makes your hair shinier. Once you are done, wrap a towel around your head and squeeze it gently with your hands. Do not rub your hair with towel. After wash, the hairs are wet and weak. Rubbing can damage the hair.

There are numerous herbs and house hold items that can make hair shiny and long. One such item is vinegar. Add a teaspoon of vinegar or a nettle infusion to the last rinse and see the difference. Your hair will come out shinier and softer.
