The best way to avoid that is go for many homemade skin care treatments that you can easily do in your home with things readily available in your kitchen. These treatments are sure to make your skin look radiant and have a healthy glow.

There are simple things you will need to maintain your homemade skin care routines. They include olive oil, lemon, aloe Vera gel, water, washcloth and a knife.

To start you in-home facial treatments, first wet your skin with water.

Now take 1 tbsp. of olive oil, which is generally present in every kitchen and smooth it all over your skin. The great thing about olive oil is that, it does not clog the skin's pores but helps to bring out the impurities that are present in your skin. These impurities cause many of the breakouts and blackheads that you see often in your skin. Apart from bringing out the impurities, olive oil also helps to make your skin soft.Now with the oil on your skin, massage the oil gently for 5 minutes. Do not rub vigorously, but use gentle but firm movements. Use a circular motion to rub this beautiful, healthy oil to your skin.

For the next step of your homemade skin care routine, take a washcloth and steam it to make it hot. Make sure it is not too hot but just comfortably hot that you can tolerate. Place this washcloth over your skin which has been massaged with the olive oil and leave it until the washcloth cools down.Use this cooled down washcloth to wipe off all the excess oil from your skin.Now take a lemon, another readily available item in your pantry, and cut into two. Rub these freshly cut lemons halves all over your skin. The reason for this homemade skin care step is to kill all bacteria that may be present in your skin with the lemon juice as it is a natural antiseptic.Lastly, rub about tsp of aloe Vera gel all over skin. Aloe Vera is an excellent natural moisturizer and this gel will help to reduce redness that is often seen in most skins.

To get the full benefit of this treatment, make sure you do it two times a day.
