? I'm going to claim that Growth Hormone products are better; that's right...better than chocolate! I'm not talking about taste. I'm talking about the health benefits of the items and how those benefits compare one to the other. Taste is important; I'm not going to claim it isn't. But our health is more important. And that's what we're going to talk about...the health benefits.

So...better than chocolate. I'm sure you've already heard the saying. It might just be me, but I seem to hear this phrase referenced all the time. Maybe I notice it more because I'm not all that into chocolate. It's fine, but it's just not my favorite. My favorites are gummy bears or a really good pastry. Chocolate's pretty good, but not an obsession of mine.

Now that I've said that...I have to also say that I agree with the theory that chocolate has positive, natural effects. It has a definite positive effect on the body. So it's more desirable than other sweet treats; at least from a health perspective.

1. Cacao (the basis of chocolate) contains antibacterial agents. And antibacterial agents fight tooth decay.

2. Theta brain waves are often increased by the smell of chocolate. This increase can result in feelings of relaxation.

3. Chocolate can be a mild mood elevator due to the phenyl ethylamine.

4. Males who eat chocolate regularly tend to live longer than those who don't; one more year on average.

5. Drinking hot chocolate can decrease an individual's appetite.

6. A sense of well being can result from the carbs in chocolate that raise serotonin levels in the individual's brain.

7. Antioxidant levels in the blood can be increased by ingesting chocolate.

8. Blood vessel elasicity can be promoted by flavanoids in chocolate.

9. Good cholesterol levels can be raised by the cocoa butter in chocolate that contains oleic acid (a mono-unsaturated fat)

Chocolate has been used as treatment for everything from insect bites to bronchitis. Some Mexican healers still use it as treatment for these particular conditions/situations. I, myself, would feel more comfortable going to a physician who didn't prescribe me chocolate for my bronchitis, but that's just me. I do think that it has an amazing ability to make people "feel good." It's one of the health benefits.

But we can't just all go around eating chocolate constantly to "increase" our general health and feel good. That would create a severe emotional dependence on the chocolate and we definitely don't want to do that. It would add drastically to the problems with obesity that we're already facing. There has to be an alternative to the feel food that can come from chocolate; something with all the benefits and fewer calories.

And now we're back where we began. So I'll say it again...Homeopathic Growth Hormone products are better than chocolate. There's no argument. In addition to providing similar health benefits as those that are assigned to chocolate...the HGH products offer an even longer, more extensive list of benefits.
