Honda CBR 150R expected to launch soon in India

India's one of the most popular motorcycle brand, Honda motorcycle and scooter India Limited is expected to launch the new smallest version of the company CBR series, known as Honda CBR 150R soon in India. Japan based major two-wheeler manufacturer, Honda has already launched the CBR 150R in Thailand. After getting wonderful response from th Thailand markets, the company mulling over to launch the new bike in the Indian auto market by the end of this year or next year. It might be loaded with a 149.4cc, 4-stroke, Single cylinder, 4 valve, DOHC engine. The powertrain of this new sports bike is expected to be delivered top power output of 18.5 Bhp at 10500 rpm and maximum torque of 16 Nm at 8500 rpm. The new Honda CBR 150R also comes with features a 276 mm disc with Telescopic forks suspension at the front and 220 mm disc available with Mono shock suspension at the rear. It has also packed with 6 speed manual transmission along with Wet Multiple Disk clutch. However, the company has not yet disclosed the price of the new CBR 150R for the Indian auto market, but as per some news reports, the new bike is believed to be priced around Rs. 1 lakh. The new CBR 150R will compete with the same range bikes like Yamaha r15 and Hero Honda karizma ZMR. On the other hand, HMSI is also planning to launch one more version of its CBR series namly Honda CBR 250R, which may launch by this festival season. After the launch two new enter level premium sports motorcycles, Honda's CBR series will become strong line of sports bikes in the country. Apart from that launch, Indian bike lovers will see the new bikes in India that includes Honda Vtr, Tvs Apache 220, Yamaha Fz, Hyosung St7, new Yamaha Fazer, Demak Cougar, Ktm Duke and Yamaha Yzf R125, etc.
