Honda is gradually grabbing the market share of two-wheelers in India with a good

number of flagship products like Honda Activa, Honda Stunner and Honda Dio. The company has launched Honda CB Twister in India recently and getting robust response. Now the company is mulling over to launch a big machine to be named as Honda CBX Twister 250cc. It is to be noted that the company is already selling this bike under the same name in many countries including Brazil, South America, Argentina, Mexico and Europe. According to some reports, Honda is planning to launch Honda CBX Twister 250cc by the end of the year 2010. This entry-level sports bike, Honda CBX Twister 250cc, is loaded with a 249cc powertrain that is comprised of single cylinder, 4 Stroke, 4 valve DOHC. This powerpacked mill is to belt out a peak power of 24 bhp at 8,000 rpm and pumps out a top torque of 2.48 kgm at 6,000 rpm. Honda CBX Twister 250cc has got six speed manual transmission. The bike is also having kick and self start facility. Honda CBX Twister 250cc comes loaded with front disc brake and rear drum brake to ensure short braking and better safety. In addition to that the Honda CBX Twister has got most advanced suspensions. The front fork is telescopic hydraulic type while the rear one is mono-shock absorber with 100mm travel. The powerplant of the Honda CBX Twister 250cc produces a top power of 24bhp at 8,000 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 2.48 kgm at 6,000 rpm. The six speed transmission is smart enough to use the output of engine and promises a great pick-up and agile acceleration. The top speed of the bike is 160 kmph. Honda CBX Twister has got stylish and sporty cosmetic. The front face of the bike seems aggressive and distinctive. The Honda CBX Twister has unique shape instrument panel.
