The Honda motor company is perhaps best known for Honda Cars but it's also a primary producer of motorcycles. Honda Cars are generally very fuel efficient and this has certainly given them an edge over their competitors. With awareness increasing about global warming this is one factor that may have increased the appeal of Honda. In fact statistics show that demand for Honda Cars have increased during oil price hikes. Even at the factory level the flexibility of the company has been a great strength in its success. Of course like all automobile giants Honda has suffered due to the recession. Sales of even Honda Cars reduced but with future forecasts appearing to be favorable the future for this unique company seems to be a sunny one.
