Honda CBR 250R is ready to meet with its Indian fans

. HMSI plans for this sport bike to be launched in India, early this year. With its innovative design, Honda CBR 250R is a perfect bike for Honda enthusiasts. It will be launched in Australia, Japan, Europe and India at the same time. The launch date will be somewhere around the April of 2011 and its price is expected to be around Rs. 1.5 Lakhs.

Honda CBR 250R has very attractive features. Its analog and digital instrumentation include a tachometer which provides vital riding information and a hi-tech instrumentation package. Designed for style and functionality with the help of its unique bodywork it routes airflow for both engine cooling and rider comfort, also creates a unique sports style. You can make controlled stops in less than ideal conditions with its combined ABS. The new CBR250R features rear and front hydraulic discs for perfect break power and feel. The new CBR250R is easy to start even in cold weather and it also has a reduced emission for fuel economy and enhanced performance. Its single cylinder engine is simple, light and makes perfect fuel economy. With counterbalance shaft the engine runs very smoothly. 30.5" seat height allows a wide range of riders. A single-shock, pre-load, adjustable rear suspension gives a smooth ride and also enhances handling. It has a passenger seat with integrated grab rail and passenger foot pegs. Under the rear passenger seat there is an under seat storage.

Honda CBR 250R comes with 2 color choices: Metallic black and red-silver Its 249.4cc engine is liquid-cooled, four-strokes, single-cylinder. It gas four valves per cylinder, six-speed transmission and a fuel capacity of 3.4 gallons. Its curb weight is 359 pounds, including all the standard equipment. Its wheelbase is 53.9 inches; trail is 95mm; rake is 25.0 degrees. Its bore and stroke measures are 76mm x 55mm, compression ratio is 10.7/1. It uses a front suspension of 37mm fork and pro-link single shock rear suspension with five positions of spring. Its ignition is computer-controlled and digitally transistorized with advanced electronics. It uses single disk front and rear brakes with the sizes of 296mm and 220mm respectively. And lastly its front and back tires are 110/70-17 radial and 140/70-17 radial respectively. Honda did it again. With these specifications and features, everybody is waiting for April to meet this new raw power on the roads.
